The core structure of the radiators is a strong steel frame resistant to electrochemical corrosion. Bimetal radiators of types RBP and RB have fins made of high-quality aluminum alloy, pressed onto the frame using high-pressure casting. In steel radiators, the frame is concealed behind metal panels made from thin sheet steel. The inner and outer surfaces of the radiators are treated with anti-corrosion processes including degreasing and phosphating, followed by electrostatic painting. Operating pressure – 1.8 MPa. Maximum heat carrier temperature – 130 °C.
The general appearance of the radiators is shown in Figures 1–4, and their technical specifications are in Tables 1–4.
